Data Scientist
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and curious Data Scientist with 5+ years of experience in leveraging data to drive business insights, build predictive models, and solve complex problems. The ideal candidate is currently completing a Master’s degree in Data Science or a related field, with a strong foundation in machine learning, statistics, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Develop and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, recommendation, and forecasting tasks.
Work closely with stakeholders to identify business problems and propose data-driven solutions.
Communicate findings clearly through dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
Perform A/B testing and statistical analysis to support product and business decisions.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean and reliable data pipelines.
Document models, workflows, and processes for transparency and reproducibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning.
Proficiency in Python or R, along with strong SQL skills.
Experience with libraries and tools like pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
Solid understanding of statistical methods, hypothesis testing, and data exploration techniques.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field — graduating by May 2025.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with NLP, time-series forecasting, or deep learning.
Familiarity with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
Exposure to MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.
Knowledge of version control (e.g., Git) and workflow automation tools.
