Private practice in Chico and in Redding searching for an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist registered with BBS to work in our Redding office. Flexible schedule, in-office availability. Supervision is provided and paid on an hourly basis. This role requires the applicant to have finished their Master's degree in Psychology or Social Work and to have already received their associate registration number from the BBS.

In this job, the associate is responsible for providing high quality client care, conducting intake assessment, psychodiagnosis, treatment planning, therapy (individual and couples) and discharge planning.

Having an EMDRIA approved Basic Training in EMDR is a requirement for this position.

If an associate is not currently trained in EMDR, we will provide a 0% interest loan with repayment to be taken out of the paycheck over the course of ten paychecks.

This position is a fee-for-service or piece-rate position. You are paid for attending supervision and staff meetings, and the rest of your wages are dependent upon providing sessions. We expect the potential therapist to schedule a minimum of 7 sessions a week with the idea that you will have at least one cancelation a day and actually provide around 5 sessions each week. However, you are welcome to schedule more clients per week. We pay on a tier system with more pay per session the more clients you see each week.

Our open positions are full-time, half-time, and part-time.

Full-time: schedules 30 clients per week and provides 25 sessions. This classification does not share their room with any other clinical staff.

Half-time: schedules 24 clients per week and provides at least 20 sessions. This classification may share their room with a part-time clinician, but has priority over use of the room calendar.

Part-time: schedules 23 clients or less per week. They share a room with another clinician, and we work with them to coordinate the room share.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Completes biopsychosocial intake assessments

2. Provide strength based family centered therapy

3. Conduct treatment planning

4. Creating and Maintaining schedule

5. Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Sessions are paid on a piece rate basis which means sessions are paid at $45-50 per session, with admin time paid at $20 per hour. Supervision is paid at the admin rate.
