Reliability Engineer
Our client is a leading specialty petrochemical company, and they are seeking a Reliability Engineer with rotating equipment experience to assist in improving refinery and terminal production. This position develops and maintains programs, as needed, to improve the overall mechanical integrity and reliability of the refinery and terminal by utilizing up-to-date inspection techniques and other reliability technologies to predict and prevent failures before occurrence by recommending repairs or replacement of applicable equipment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
- 1-3 years of experience with rotating equipment in petrochemical or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with API/ASME codes, welding, metallurgy, and inspection techniques.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PCMS, and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize safety and maintain an organized workspace.
- Supervise and support inspectors; provide technical expertise.
- Manage inspection programs, work plans, and fitness-for-service assessments.
- Coordinate turnaround (TAR) planning, inspections, repairs, and leak testing.
- Conduct and review damage mechanism assessments and failure analyses.
- Maintain and update asset records, inspection schedules, and documentation in PCMS.
- Support Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analyses (PHA), and compliance with RAGAGEP standards.
