Registered Behavior Technician

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Waypoint Behavioral Health Solutions

Location: Denton, Fort Worth, Arlington, TX (services throughout DFW areas)
Position Type: Clinic and In-home

Waypoint Behavioral Health Solutions is expanding our team and seeking dedicated Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or individuals with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience ready to pursue RBT certification to provide compassionate, client-centered ABA care.

New Hire Incentive: RBT Certification Bonus & Exam Fee Support

  • Candidates who already hold an active RBT certification at the time of hire are eligible for an RBT Certification Bonus.
  • Candidates who need to obtain their certification may receive reimbursement for RBT exam fees after successfully earning their RBT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one ABA therapy in the home, center, and in community-based environments.
  • Implement individualized ABA treatment plans
  • Accurately collect and document session data
  • Provide written and verbal progress updates to the BCBA and PM on treatment goals
  • Collaborate effectively with supervisors and clinical team members
  • Build strong rapport with clients and families
  • Properly log all billable and non-billable time, session notes, and other appropriate documentation
  •  Attend team meetings for each client on your caseload

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Education
  • Experience implementing the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and direct therapy, or working with youth in a classroom or one-to-one setting
  • RBT certification preferred, but not required if you have relevant experience
    • Must be willing to obtain RBT certification within 30 days of hire
  • Strong computer, documentation, data collection, and communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
  • Friendly, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Passionate about working with children with special needs

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods 
  • Move in a variety of ways to include sitting on the floor, stooping, bending, and reaching 
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
