About the Role & Compensation:
- Lead dynamic academic support tutoring sessions (90%)
- Share educational progress with students and families (5%)
- Utilize our curated resources for stress-free planning (5%)
- Part-time: 12-hour delivery target with 16 hours of availability or 20-hours delivery target with 24 hours availability, including evenings and weekends
- Pay: $20/hour for instruction time; prep and training time compensated at $10 per hour or your local minimum wage (whichever is higher)
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completed a minimum of two years at an accredited university; additional qualifications a plus
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and current residence required
- Minimum of one semester teaching or tutoring experience
- Able to demonstrate the ability to support at least groupings of academic subjects listed below by earning a 90% or better on relevant subject assessments
- AP Chemistry and Chemistry
- AP Biology and Biology
- AP Physics 1 and Physics
- AP Pre-Calculus and Pre-Calculus
- AP Calculus AB and Calculus
- AP Calculus BC and Calculus
- Python
- College Essay Writing and High School English
- Spanish (K-12)
- Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2
- Elementary School Math and Elementary School English (Grades K-5)
- Middle School Math and Middle School English (Grades 6-8)
- Reliable high-speed internet and quiet, professional space; technology kit provided if needed (webcam, headset, ring light, green screen, annotation tablet)
- The ability to commit to the same 16 or 24 hours of availability week-on-week during weekday afternoons/evenings and at least 8 hours of weekends

Schedule Requirements
Availability: Post at least 16 or 24 prime-time hours weekly, the same hours every week. Our goal is to book you for 12 or 20 tutoring hours per week respectively depending on student demand.
Prime-time Hours when availability should be posted:
- Mon-Thu: 4-10 pm ET
- Sat: 9 am - 6 pm ET
- Sun: 11 am - 10 pm ET
Weekends: At least 8 hours of availability on either Saturday and/or Sunday is required.
Advance Planning: Preference will go to those who can post schedules 9+ months ahead and those who can commit to consistent hours week on week. Please submit time-off requests 4 weeks in advance.
