Bricks 4 Kidz Orlando Teacher - Afterschool and In-school Classes

Shift/Schedule: Part-Time, Casual, On-Call, Mon - Fri (1 hour sessions)

Work Locatons: Primarily in Sanford, Lake Mary, Altamonte Springs, Maitland, Orlando, Oviedo, Lake Nona, Winter Park and Surrounding Areas

Programs: Instructors- Primarily Facilitating Weekday Workshops, Birthday Parties, Kidz Night Out, Camps (Summer, Spring, & Fall), Etc.

Job Responsibilities:
 

  • Supervise and manage volunteers and campers, ensuring that the camps are delivered at a high level
     
  • Ensure the safe operation and instruction of all camp activities
     
  • Lead daily meetings with volunteers and manage sign-in and pick-up
     
  • Interface with camp parents and the main office
     
  • Manage site logistics such as snacks, inventory and supplies, and schedules
     
  • Be a positive role model for campers and volunteers, and arrive each day with an inclusive, professional, and upbeat attitude
     
  • Provide regular updates and stay in close communications with the Area Manager throughout the week
     

Required Qualification & Experience:
 

  • Experience working with children 5-12 years old
     
  • Provide a safe, nurturing, welcoming, FUN learning environment
     
  • Plan, lead, and participate in program activities / workshops / classes / parties
     
  • Committed to providing quality experiences for children and families
     
  • Lead groups of children, capture their attention, and focus on activities
     
  • Outgoing, cheerful, energetic communication patterns
     
  • Work flexible hours and programs - reliability and punctuality is key
     
  • Collaborate with teammates and coworkers
     
  • Maintain confidentiality of families, children, staff, and proprietary curriculum

Pay: $225.00 - $450.00 per week
