Before and After School Care Teachers & Camp Instructors

We are currently seeking Before and After School Care Teachers (Full-Time with Benefits) & School Break Camp Instructors (1099 Contract):

 

Hours: Full-time for Before and After School Care Teachers; Summer Camp Instructors (seasonal)

 

 

Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated professionals to join our team as Before and After School Care Teachers and Summer Camp Instructors. The Before and After School Care Teachers will work full-time and enjoy a benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and more. Our Summer Camp Instructors are hired on a 1099 contract basis, working seasonally, with no benefits provided. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in robotics, coding, arts and crafts, gaming, gardening, math, science, and other STEAM-related fields.

 

Both positions require passion for working with children, ensuring safety, and fostering a fun and engaging learning environment. These roles involve supervising, guiding, and creating a safe, welcoming space for children of various age groups.

 

Before and After School Care Teachers (Full-Time with Benefits)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children before and after school hours.
  • Create and implement age-appropriate activities, games, and lessons.
  • Ensure a safe, fun, and supportive environment for all children.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and school staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment for activities.
  • Support children with homework, academic projects, and social development.
  • Implement positive behavioral strategies and conflict resolution techniques.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (AA or BA in Education or related field preferred).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (current).
  • Health and Safety Training (10 hours).
  • Fire Safety Training.
  • Successful Background Check
  • 5 Additional Training Hours (related to child care).
  • Recognizing and Reporting Suspect Child Abuse training.
  • Infectious Disease training.
  • Injury Control training.
  • Ability to work well with children and maintain a positive and energetic environment.

 

Summer Camp Instructors (1099 Contract, No Benefits)

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise children in camp activities during the summer season.
  • Plan, organize, and lead activities such as arts and crafts, sports, games, and educational projects.
  • Ensure a fun, safe, and inclusive environment for all campers.
  • Promote teamwork and foster positive relationships among children.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and fellow camp staff to ensure the success of camp programs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with the camp director and other instructors to meet the needs of the campers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (AA or BA in Education or related field preferred).
  • CPR/First Aid certification (current).
  • Health and Safety Training (10 hours).

  • Background Check.
  • 5 Additional Training Hours (related to child care).
