Highway Engineer (0-5 years)

Highway Engineer:  Highway Engineers with 0-5 years of project experience; preferably with a combination of road- and highway design experience. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, performing calculations, preparing contract drawings and specifications, estimating costs and materials, shop drawing review, and construction administration. Exceptional entry level candidates will be considered. Ideal candidates are team players that are self-motivated, have strong written and oral communication skills, and have a desire to grow personally. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s degree welcome).
• Working knowledge of standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam) as well as roadway and drainage design software including MicroStation and InRoads
• Experience in roadway projects for NHDOT, VTrans and/or MaineDOT, is desired.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification or the ability to earn within two years.
• 0-5 Years of project experience.
