Preschool Lead Teacher

Paper Crown Preschool is looking for a fun, dedicated, and caring Lead Teacher for our toddler program in East Greenwich, RI!

At Paper Crown Preschool, we believe imagination is the best accessory so we’re looking for a Lead Teacher who will use silly voices while reading stories, who doesn't mind sitting criss-cross-applesauce on the floor throughout the day, and who loves playing dress-up!

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading the best part of the morning routine - Circle Time!
Creating engaging and fun lessons that are facilitated through hand-on learning and play
Helping students discover the magic of the world around them through monthly themes such as Forests & Fairytales, Communities, and Farms & Giving
Partnering with our Teacher Assistants to create days full of learning, laughter... and a little bit of dirt from the playground
Helping students develop confidence and independence through mastering self-help skills such as getting ready for outdoor play, washing hands, etc.
Contributing the the vibe... AKA being helpful, reliable, and kind to your fellow teachers
Teaching students about the vibe... AKA modeling and encouraging sharing, problem-solving, inclusion, and kindness

Who We’re Looking For:

Someone who is patient, playful and likes being active
A team player who can go with the flow
Those who have or are pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or a related field are encouraged to apply!
