Group Fitness Coach
We are looking for a super positive, high-energy, and passionate, health and fitness-focused individual to join our team of growth-minded coaches at Lyndhurst Fit Body Boot Camp.
This position will start as part time 15-20 hrs per week, and could build into a full time role
We are NOT looking for someone:
- who is self absorbed and posts half dressed selfies to IG for "motivation"
- who coaches like a drill sergeant and doesn’t understand the needs of their audience
- who has a master's degree but has not mastered how to connect and make a client feel heard, seen, and cared about
- who expects an easy job of showing up, coaching and going home (our system involves administrative work, programming, texting/emailing clients, conducting strategy sessions, MIA reports, etc.)

Our company is on a mission to change the fitness world and the best 30 minutes in all of our client's lives.
Our coaches are the foundation of what we do. They play a fundamental role within the team and company culture as they lead our sessions and work closely with each member to provide the ultimate fitness experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coach 30 minute group sessions per day with excellence, based on the Fit Body Standard and Metrics in the Coaching Playbook and 30 Minute Experience
- Attend a weekly team meeting and engage with your team to help drive the vision and mission forward
- Participate in ongoing professional and personal development coaching with a focus on a growth mindset, leadership and service aptitude
- Occasional travel for workshops, certifications and development trainings
- Help maintain a clean and organized facility appearance
- Client nurture and communication
Experience, skills and requirements:
- Must have open availability to coach AM/PM session blocks
- Applicants are preferred to have a degree in the field or nationally recognized fitness certification (such as: ACE, NASM, ACSM, ect.)
- Applicant must have an active CPR certification or ability to get one before starting

COACHING SCHEDULE - Our workouts are offered during the following coaching blocks below (although we are growing rapidly and sessions may be added to accommodate).
You must be available to coach 2-3 of each block per week.
- Morning Coaching Shift - 5:00 AM - 9:45 AM/ or 1130 (depending on day)
- Afternoon/Evening Coaching Shift - 3:30 PM - 7:15 PM
- Saturday AM Coaching Shift - 7:00 AM - 10:30 AM
We are trying to change the fitness industry and provide a workplace for passionate coaches to build a career. You can expect:
- Maximum of 1 "CLOPEN" (Close the facility one night and then open the next morning) limited to 1 per week
- Rarely will you have split shifts (early morning & evening)
- 1-2 Weekends off each month
