Clinical Research Assistant
This is a full-time, on-site, permanent position for our Suncoast Clinical Research site in Florida.
Job Summary
The Research Assistant performs delegated support tasks for both locations: New Port Richey and Palm Harbor Florida.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare study charts based on a template prepared by the Study Coordinator
- Ensure charts are prepped 2 days ahead, including lab kit preparation
- File both study charts and study files
- Complete study logs
- Ensure Medical Release Forms and Primary Care Physician letters are completed and faxed
- Preparing for monitor visits
- Scanning and uploading documents to subject’s charts
- Perform vitals, EKG’s, diary training and other study procedures as directed by Study Coordinator
- Support Centralized Clinical Data Specialists with paper source data entry
- Assist Lab Technician as needed
- Stock exam rooms
- Perform front desk duties as needed
- Complete Clinical Data & Quality projects as assigned by supervisor
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor and as noted on the delegation log.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Phlebotomy- will train on-site
Education and Experience
- High School Degree or equivalent required
- Medical field or experience as nursing assistant preferred
- Previous medical office, research, or hospital experience preferred
Wage
- $19-21/hour
