Structural Design Engineer I
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer I to join our structural engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who want to grow in a supportive, technically challenging environment.
This is a full-time position based in Fort Collins, CO, also allowing for partial remote work while maintaining strong collaboration with our in-office team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis and design for portions of projects
- Support engineering calculations, design documents, and technical reports
- Conduct data collection and code research
- Use CAD and engineering software for drafting and modeling
- Participate in field investigations and site visits
- Learn and apply building codes, standards, and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Passed or planning to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) exam
- Familiarity with CAD and structural analysis software (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with Revit Structures or other 3D modeling software
- Internship experience with a consulting or construction firm
- Field or jobsite experience
