Math Teacher

Lucas Literacy Lab, a microschool rooted in care and connection, is seeking a Math Teacher to guide students ages 6–12 in a mixed-age classroom setting.

Responsibilities:

Teach and support math lessons across multiple grade levels

Provide 1:1 and small group instruction

Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs

Encourage problem-solving, critical thinking, and math confidence

Qualifications:

Education majors or those with experience in math instruction are preferred

Comfort teaching across elementary and middle school levels

Strong communication, patience, and classroom management skills

Reliable, enthusiastic, and eager to support a nurturing learning environment
