Case Coordinator 

The Office of Chapter 13 Trustee in Akron, Ohio is seeking a new staff member to serve as case coordinator.

The Chapter 13 trusteeship is responsible for the administration of cases for people who file for bankruptcy.

Chapter 13 is the bankruptcy chapter that helps people save their homes and cars.

The Case Coordinator position is part financial analysis and part audit of cases.   The job position also involves some clerical duties.  Prior knowledge of bankruptcy laws and regulations is helpful but not required.   Training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, self-motived team player with strong communication and math skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, punctual, willing to be cross trained, and good at working with the public.

Applicants should possess, at a minimum, an associate degree in business, legal assisting, accounting, or another related field.

Starting salary is $40,000 - $50,000.  Benefits include parking, health, dental, and vision insurance.  Paid holidays and paid vacation.

Candidates have the ability to earn the right to work remotely up to two days a week.
