Job Title: Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Substance Use & Mental Health)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our multidisciplinary team. The social worker will provide direct clinical services, including assessments, individual and group counseling, case management, and care coordination for clients struggling with substance use and mental health challenges. The ideal candidate is trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and committed to empowering clients on their path to wellness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling focused on substance use recovery
  • Deliver crisis intervention, safety planning, and relapse prevention support.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, peer support specialists, and community providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
  • Advocate for client needs and connect them to appropriate community resources (housing, employment, medical care, legal assistance, etc.).
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, case conferences, and program development activities.
  • Stay current with best practices, ethical standards, and continuing education requirements in social work and behavioral health.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as an LCSW
  • Experience in substance use disorder treatment and/or co-occurring mental health preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, CBT/DBT, or other evidence-based practices.
  • Strong skills in crisis management, cultural humility, and client-centered care.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
