Elementary Teacher - 2nd Grade (Full-Time, Benefited Position)

Position Overview

Bridge Elementary is seeking a dynamic, dedicated, and highly qualified 2nd Grade Teacher to join our K-6 teaching team. As a Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) school, we are committed to meeting the individual needs of every student through data-driven instruction, flexible grouping, and meaningful student goals. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for student learning, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure high levels of student success.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-based instruction aligned with Utah Core Standards.
  • Incorporate Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) to track student growth, support individual goals, and celebrate progress.
  • Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Implement strong classroom management strategies to support student success and minimize disruptions.
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and other faculty to plan lessons, analyze student data, and implement best instructional practices.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, classroom activities, and school initiatives.
  • Participate in school-wide professional development, team meetings, and committees.
  • Uphold school policies, procedures, and values, contributing to a supportive school culture.

Required Qualifications

  • Utah State Teaching License (Elementary Education) - required.
  • Demonstrated success in classroom management with elementary-aged students.
    Strong collaboration and communication skills with peers, parents, and administration.
  • Commitment to professional growth and contributing to a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience teaching at the elementary level, ideally in grades K-3.
  • Training or experience in research-based classroom management frameworks (e.g.,
    CHAMPS, PBIS, or similar)
  • Familiarity with data-driven instruction and differentiated teaching strategies.

Position Details

  • Full-time, benefited position.
    Competitive salary based on education and experience.
  • Start Date: October 22, 2025, or as soon as possible.
