Registered Behavior Technician
Pay rate will be $19.00 per hour
Full-time position working 37.5 hours per week - Monday through Friday only (no nights or weekends)
Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of children? Join our dynamic team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). As a RBT, you'll provide individualized services to children with a medical necessity for treatment using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). You'll implement learning programs, collect behavioral data, and support behavior intervention plans. When not working one-on-one, you'll execute group therapy, assist with baseline observations, and provide school readiness tutoring.
A Snapshot of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Observe and measure behavior in clinic settings to support behavior change
- Gather behavioral data to track progress of behavioral objectives
- Implement skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs using DTT, incidental teaching, and verbal behavior instruction
- Support teachers with general behavior management
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; BA/BS in psychology, social work, special education, or related field preferred
- Current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow professionally
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and work effectively with young children
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a Medicaid Provider Number
