Position Title: Afternoon Preschool Counselor

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00–6:00 p.m.

Overview:
Our preschool is seeking an enthusiastic and responsible Afternoon Preschool Counselor to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and contributing to a nurturing, engaging after-school environment.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children during afternoon hours.
• Engage children in play and developmentally appropriate activities.
• Facilitate creative projects, games, and learning experiences.
• Supervise both indoor and outdoor play environments.
• Distribute and monitor snack time.
• Collaborate with  staff to maintain a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children (preschool or early childhood setting preferred).
• A warm, patient, and team-oriented approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and enthusiasm for supporting children’s growth and daily routines.
