Licensed Therapist (LMSW/LAC/LAPC) – Child & Family Services – Childhelp Advocacy Center
The Work You’ll Do
• Provide trauma-informed care, clinical intervention, and therapeutic services
• Deliver individual, family, and group counseling using evidence-based practices
• Provide crisis counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Conduct case management and coordinate with child protective services and community partners
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive child advocacy
• Complete timely, accurate documentation per regulatory standards
• Participate in clinical trainings, case reviews, and team meetings
• Maintain compliance with ethical guidelines, licensing requirements, and mandatory reporting laws
• Contribute to a positive, mission-focused workplace culture committed to child safety and healing
What You Bring – Required
• Master’s Degree in related field.
• State-required license or certification (LAC, LMSW, LAPC, etc.)
• Ability to work with vulnerable children and families
• Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork
What You Bring – Preferred
• Experience in trauma-informed care
• Bilingual skills
• Experience with child welfare, crisis counseling, or nonprofit program support
• Commitment to Childhelp’s mission of child abuse prevention and victim advocacy.
Schedule & Work Environment
• Typical schedule: 8am-5pm
• In-person
• May require occasional on-call or adjusted hours based on client needs
