Occupational Therapist
The Work You’ll Do
- Assess client needs and interpret evaluations to develop OT treatment plans
- Implement therapy programs to build fine motor, gross motor, sensory, perceptual, and daily living skills
- Support clients with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges
- Promote functional independence based on each child’s abilities and goals
- Monitor and document progress; adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to support home carryover
- Recommend adaptive equipment and follow-up services
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, compliant treatment environment
What You Bring – Required
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (AOTA-accredited)
- Arizona Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) & AOTCB certified
- Minimum 1 year of OT experience
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet physical demands (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to work with children who may display challenging behaviors
What You Bring – Preferred
- Experience in trauma-informed care
- Bilingual skills
- Experience with emotionally disturbed children or adolescents
- Background in child welfare, crisis intervention, or nonprofit services
Schedule & Work Environment
- Typical schedule: 8am-5pm
- In-person
- May require occasional on-call or adjusted hours based on client needs
