Job Coach (Full Time) - Sacramento
Education, Certification, and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related human services field preferred or 2 years of direct support experience with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Interest in working with adults with developmental disabilities required.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients in developing behavioral and social skills to achieve their goals.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate case notes.
- Transport clients for community outings (personal or company vehicle).
- Ensure client health, safety, and community inclusion.
- Develop skill-based, inclusive activities for clients.
- Collaborate with the team to implement Individual Program Plans (IPP) and Individual Service Plans (ISP).
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word). Knowledge of Case Magic, Photoshop, or Adobe Premiere is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to collect and analyze data, prepare reports, and collaborate with others.
Requirements:
- Livescan/DOJ clearance (can be completed as part of the hiring process) , TB clearance.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and acceptable DMV record.
Schedule and Compensation:
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Pay: $18 to $22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
