Industrial Engineer - PMTS

Position Summary

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer with expertise in Pre-Determined Motion Time Systems (PMTS) to support labor standards development and work measurements. This role will apply MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM methodologies to establish engineered labor standards, improve productivity, and support operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM.
  • Conduct time studies and motion studies to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Perform process mapping and workflow analysis.
  • Use data analysis tools to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in industrial engineering or work measurement.
  • Demonstrated expertise in MOST, MODAPTS, and/or MTM.
  • Strong capability in conducting time studies and creating engineered standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel (and ideally Power BI, SQL, Minitab, or similar).
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
    • Spanish language skills a plus.

Plus Qualifications

  • Certification or formal training in MOST, MODAPTS, or MTM.
  • Experience in automotive, assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, fulfillment, or distribution.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification (Green Belt a plus).
  • Experience with WMS/LMS (labor management systems) and standard time databases.
