Join us to build a world class hypercar. We are aiming to push the bounds of what is possible in the automotive world by bringing hard-won knowledge and experience from the aerospace industry through 26+ years combined experience at SpaceX of our founders. We will be developing hardware and new technologies in-house on all fronts; engine, drivetrain, suspension, vehicle structure, aerodynamics, at a level that will meet or advance the state of the art. We are a recent startup aiming to staff a total of ~10 employees.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Aerospace/Mechanical Engineer role located in Torrance, CA. The Engineer will handle tasks such as designing and optimizing mechanical systems on a high performance road vehicle, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools. This is a ground up design effort, with ample opportunities for hardware ownership and personal career development and growth; there is high demand but also a high reward for success.

 Qualifications

• 1-3 years mechanical/aerospace engineering experience
• High aptitude. Someone who has demonstrated success in engineering related projects
• Proficiency in using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed designs
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a focus on innovative solutions
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Compensation & Benefits

• $90k–$120k
