Seeking Weekend Instructor for Children’s STEM Programs in Bedford, MA

Inventor STEM School offers Lego and Minecraft-based STEM enrichment programs for kids ages 4-13+ at our school in Bedford, MA. We currently have openings for part-time weekend instructors for our school-year programs (September through June) and full-week instructors for our School Vacation (February, April, Summer) programs. We provide all necessary training and materials - you bring the energy and excitement!

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES SHOULD:

  • Have some experience working with children or young adults - whether paid or unpaid/volunteer (e.g. coaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth group leader, camp counselor, swim teacher, babysitting).
  • Be experienced in Minecraft (player skills is highly welcomed).
  • Be eager to learn and have a great sense of humor!
  • Be available to work at least one 6 to 8-hour weekend shift during the school year (September - June). 
  • Be available to work at least 6 weeks during summer (mid of June - August) and school breaks (February, April).

EXTRA POINTS FOR:

  • Experience with Legos, Minecraft, or Robotics
  • STEM knowledge (e.g. engineering, robotics, coding, game design, architecture, earth science)

NOTE: Noted pay rate reflects range from lowest to highest depending on experience and education.
