Audit Accountant
Assurance Responsibilities (not an all-inclusive listing):
- Investigate specific client complaints / adverse experiences / operational problems to identify root cause and design effective corrective and preventive actions; additionally, prepare and provide formal Incident Reports for clients, as needed
- Responsible for daily Compliance Management – review and approval, internal audits, vendor assist with tracking, questionnaires, Document Management – review and approval as well as training records management
- Implement, monitor, evaluate and develop quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure quality of products produced by the Firm
- Assist supervisor with any other Audit Assurance activities, as required
- Handle clients’ requests for information and questions, as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the firm’s partners or professional staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Master’s preferred)
- CPA license, or completion of work hours required to sit for the CPA exam
- Ability to adhere to and abide by the client’s and the firm’s quality standards
- Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills and ability to learn new skills quickly
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills in order to meet commitments and deadlines
- Candidates must have a positive attitude and an interest in assurance services, as well as have excellent written and oral communication
- Proficient use of technology, including Microsoft Office
- Strong professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
