Consulting - Fund Operations Analyst

This role would be primarily working with our client’s fund accounting team and would be responsible for providing fund operations support.
 
Primary Responsibilities
  • Facilitate credit facility interest payments, paydowns, and drawdowns between multiple parties.
  • Calculate interest payments and interest accruals by tranche.
  • Reconcile each fund’s position (e.g., contributions, distributions, total P&L, gross returns, net returns, IRR, etc.) between management reporting software and accounting schedules, and book adjustments as needed.
  • Calculate gross and net investor returns by updating existing IRR calculation with current period cashflows and ending NAV.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly and annual regulatory reporting filings, including Form PF, AIFMD, etc., by running activity reports and populating reporting templates.
  • Review/confirm management company expenses allocated to the fund by saving down invoice support and ensuring accuracy/completeness.  Facilitate expense payments across fund structure.
  • Agree standard accounting schedules to investor statements.
  • Perform cash reconciliations for 50+ entities.
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Fund accounting experience is a plus
  • 3-4 years of relative experience and available to start as soon as possible
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, multi-task, has good organizational skills
  • Demonstrates solid and clear communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships with clients and peers
