Postdoc Fellow – Virtual Reality and Binocular vision at Harvard

POSITION SUMMARY:
Dr. Jae-Hyun Jung at the Schepens Eye Research Institute/Mass Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School is seeking applications for an NIH-funded postdoc fellow in vision/computer science to study AR/VR and binocular rivalry.
The goal of this newly starting NIH-funded project is to develop a see-through AR/VR device for field expansion in mobility and reveal the mechanism of double vision and monocular/binocular rivalry in motion. 
Requirements include a Ph.D. in any area related to visual perception in VR studies (e.g., vision/neuroscience, psychology, computer science, or any engineering), programming skills, and any experience with human subjects. 
 
The position is available right now but is flexible to start. The initial appointment would be for one year, with renewal opportunities for several additional years. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.

Schepens Eye Research Institute of Mass. Eye and Ear, Harvard Medical School is located in Boston with a strong research community of faculty, postdoctoral fellows, and research assistants with interdisciplinary backgrounds. The position also provides the opportunity to participate in the Schepens postdoc training program for scientific integrity and other general issues of interest to young scientists and also to develop additional collaborations with the research community at the Schepens, which includes multiple Center of Excellence in Harvard Medical School.
