Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) / Behavior Technician for Individuals with Autism

Spectrum of Hope was founded in 2004 to provide Applied Behavior Analytic services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other developmental disabilities. Our services are provided in a professional clinical setting to individuals of all ages (early childhood through adults) and across all skill levels. We are dedicated to providing high-quality levels of care to our clients by employing a highly trained team of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Technicians.

Our Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position is an integral part of our treatment team. As an RBT you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families by employing principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to increase skill levels and reduce behaviors that are impeding learning.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide hands-on treatment to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders in a 1:1 ratio
  • Utilize principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to teach impactful skills such as: communication skills, social skills, daily living skills
  • Implement treatment plan and behavior intervention plans developed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Collect data utilizing latest technological programs
  • Provide updates on progress through written and verbal communication
  • Communicate well with team members and supervisors
  • Adhere to organizational policies and procedures including following HIPAA laws
Requirements
  • Strong desire to serve children with autism and other developmental delays
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Upbeat and positive attitude
  • Ability to manage time independently and multi-task
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Experience with children and/or individuals with special needs is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must pass background screening
  • Full Time Schedule (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm)
  • This role has physical qualifications that must be met such as the ability to be physically active for 30 minutes, respond quickly from any position, and the ability to lift or support 50 pounds.
