Behavioral Health Internship (Undergraduate)

Job Description
This program is a 10-week full-time opportunity that starts on June 6th, 2022 and will end on August 12, 2022.

Location: CT-Hartford, TX-Austin

This program has positions available at multiple work office locations across the country. By applying to this position, you understand that you will be considered for opportunities at these multiple locations. and your final location will be assigned and shared with you closer to your start date. What you will do:
• Provide telephonic and chat support to members including: in the moment reassurance, education on community resources and program benefits, and information on how to access and choose services to aid in the alleviation of stressors.
• Determine appropriate intervention action steps in dealing with member situational concerns including cross referral to additional services or benefits.
• Provide information to members regarding mental health, substance abuse community resources, eldercare resources, childcare resources, and related basic need services.
• Research, locate, and screens potential services and resources that meet members needs and provides referrals directly to member.
• Perform follow up with member to ensure needs are met.
• Protect the confidentiality of member information.
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation of required information, member interactions and activities.
