Behavior Specialist - Phoenix South Primary

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience working with children/students on behavior management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Behavior Tech certification / experience
  • Experience in a school environment or classroom setting

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the development of effective behavior support strategies.
  • Support students individually or in small groups.
  • Work as part of a classroom team to support academic instruction and behavioral intervention plans.
  • Collect data on behavior and/or academic achievement under the direction of the special education teacher/school psychologist.
  • Implement behavior strategies in alignment with the behavior intervention plan.
  • Provide training and support to school staff for implementing behavior support strategies.
