Proposal Development and Client Success Internship (Anthem, Inc.)

Our proposal development and client success interns will experience two unique portions of the sales cycle including contributing to the front-end client intake portion with proposals and back-end client setup. Interns will develop formal proposals by coordinating the distribution of questions to company experts, writing, editing and proofing questionnaire responses for finished proposals. Interns will project manage client setup activities and serve as a liaison between Client Management, Sales and Sales Support. This opportunity will allow interns to utilize leading customer relationship management and proposal workflow solutions to service and market the world class products and services that Anthem delivers to its customers and members. Finally, the interns will lead corporate projects as assigned, develop and implement tracking mechanisms and tools for successful project execution.
 
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, with a preferred course of study in marketing, healthcare or another business-related discipline. 
 
-Overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
-Highly motivated, willing to learn and take initiative.
-Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
-Project management experience with cross functional teams.
-Skilled at working collaboratively, developing creative solutions, and accomplishing team goals.
-Proficient with MS Windows software applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
-While the assignment will be primarily virtual/Work At Home we would prefer applicants who are based within a commutable distance to the relevant Anthem commercial health plan home office (Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO; Wallingford, CT; Atlanta, GA; Indianapolis, IN; Louisville, KY; S. Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO; Manchester, NH; Las Vegas, NV; New York, NY; Cincinnati/Mason, OH; Richmond, VA, Milwaukee, WI).
