Community Liaison
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Community Liaison works in collaboration under the direction of the Executive Director to assist in communicating what is happening in each program to other departments at Heal the City (HTC). This position will promote and organize events to help effectively communicate change in each department and unity among the staff.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITES
- Plan and execute staff community events, such as quarterly fun days and 5th Monday meetings
- Utilize the monthly awareness theme to plan events that facilitate patient education, awareness, and engagement
- Promote monthly awareness events and topics within HTC departments
- Facilitate collaboration across HTC departments for event planning and execution to eliminate duplication of events
- Serve as head of the Culture Committee, ensuring that HTC's values are carried out in the staff community culture
- Maintain the communication board to advertise all upcoming events and the monthly provider schedule
- Design and promote monthly staff wellness challenges in collaboration with the Wellness Team
- Design and maintain graphics displayed on HTC televisions throughout the FIT Center and clinic
- Design and execute the HTC Hero Wall highlighting patient accomplishments in Clinic and FIT Center
- Assist the HTC Mission’s Director in digitizing HR files and defining processes
- Design and send digital newsletter to HTC staff members weekly
- Other related job duties as assigned.
