Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for finding talent, building a strong employer brand and ensuring great relationships with both candidates, clients, and the Cano Health community. Recruits top talent in the marketplace through sourcing, establishes relationships, assesses staffing needs, and develops local, regional, or national recruitment, marketing and communication strategies to attract top talent.
 
Become a subject matter guide in the utilization and optimization of the applicant tracking system and other tools used in the talent acquisition process.
• Recruits top talent in the marketplace through sourcing and attending all viable job fair and/or networking events; conducts proactive searches utilizing creative and cost-effective sourcing methods to recruit for exempt positions; designs and implements targeted advertising strategies; works closely with hiring managers in identification identifying of appropriate candidates; and manages the interview process between the candidate and client, including relaying feedback between parties & salary negotiations.
• Manages Search & Screen processes within the organization.
• Provides guidance to search committees throughout recruitment cycle on matters related to compliance with established search guidelines, sourcing strategies, establishment of evaluation criteria, pre-employment processes and on-boarding of selected candidates.
• Serves as liaison with Executive Search Firms and/or Staffing agencies as business needs arises.
• Works with Chief People Officer and Director in planning, designing, coordinating, and implementing of company-wide Talent Acquisition training and education initiatives for Cano community.
• Facilitates training sessions for managers on recruitment laws, policies, and practices including effective search processes, interview and selection techniques, and facilitating positive candidate experiences.
• Establishes client (departmental unit) relationships, assesses staffing needs, and develop local, regional, or national recruitment, marketing and communication strategies to attract top talent.
• Implements recruitment plan to source, recruit, screen, interview candidates, and makes finalist recommendations.
• Builds pipelines of candidates through the establishment and utilization of relationships with community groups, centers of influence, and other candidate sources as needed.
• Seeks out and recommends sources of candidates including the Internet, colleges, job fairs, technical schools, etc.
• Assists the Director in development and implementation of special projects for the department.
• Conducts benchmarking studies and researches best practices for further consideration.
• Conducts periodic assessments and surveys to measure effectiveness of programs and services.

Bachelor's degree in a relevant, related field or equivalent experience
• At least 2-3 years recruiting experience in a similar, comparable role
• Prior experience with sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates
• Proficient in Microsoft full Office Suite
• Healthcare and/or hospital experience preferred
• Fluent in English and Spanish
