Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed in CT, RI, MA, NH

Aware Recovery Care (ARC) offers a holistic approach to treatment and changes the way clients receive care throughout the northeast. ARC is a year-long, home based, addiction treatment program that works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assist clients in their first year of recovery.

Position Summary:

The Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting client psychiatric
evaluations throughout the company. The Virtual Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner supports and
assists as Agency Integrated Healthcare Services Director when needed. The Virtual Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner possess excellent interpersonal communication skills as he/she collaborates
with the Clinical and Medical Managers, Medical Director, direct care staff and upper
management to ensure a high standard of client care.

Note: All applicants will be run through the National Practitioner Data Base.

*****This is a remote position, but must be licensed in either RI, MA, NH or CT.***** 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts a minimum of twenty client psychiatric evaluations weekly
  • Acts as interim Agency Integrated Healthcare Services Director in expansion sites as needed
  • Supports established Agency Integrated Healthcare Services Director as needed
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned


Required Qualifications: 

  • Master’s Degree, Doctoral Degree, active Registered Nursing license and relevant clinical licensure, unencumbered (PMHNP-BC, APRN, Psych PA)
  • Minimum three years’ experience in the addiction treatment field, preferable at various levels of care
  • Willing to be licensed in as many states as necessary
  • DATA Suboxone waiver
  • Unencumbered license to practice in any state and active DEA
