Training Design Specialist

Job Purpose
• Focus on client experience and effectiveness of training solutions
• Design, develop, and deliver self-paced eLearning product training programs that are consumed by external clients and division associates.
• Apply rapid development methodologies and project management disciplines.
• Consult with internal subject matter experts to understand product training requirements, design appropriate solutions, and develop content; extracting pertinent product information.
• Design courses; conduct needs analysis, build storyboards and design documents.
• Develop eLearning tutorial scripts.
• Maintain developed courseware and upgrade content to the current release.
• Deploy courses and curriculum via learning technologies, responsible for uploading and deploying learning objects to learning management systems (LMS).
• Manage client curriculum assignments and library renewals as required.
• Recommend training process improvements, learning solutions, changes or variations from current materials and procedures.
• Promote and support standardization of division-wide processes, disciplines, and strategies as required.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across division product lines and functional areas.
 
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Instructional Design and Development (instructor-led)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe eLearning Suite, Camtasia, etc.)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in instructional design for virtual education and self-paced online programs
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience designing and developing product training programs for client consumption
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with learning management systems (i.e. Cornerstone)
• Minimum of 1-year experience with narration
• Knowledge of the ADDIE method; Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation
