Product Management Operations Business Analyst

Job Description:
DTN is seeking a Business Analyst who is data-focused, detailed oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, changing environment. The analyst will report to the Product Management VP of Operations and work cross functionally with the product, sales, finance, and business operations teams. 
This individual will contribute to our mission by conducting research, analyzing, and organizing data to help inform business decisions on what products to build, where to invest resources, and how to price products.  The analyst will also support standardizing processes and metrics across the organization to drive overall DTN efficiency and growth. 
 
The ideal location for this candidate is Burnsville, MN or Omaha, NE, however we will consider remote candidates as well.

Your day to day: 

  • Perform statistical analysis of data, organizing and transforming information into actionable, easy-to-understand formats and make recommendations. 
  • Work with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Customer Experience, Finance, and Business Operations teams to validate data and information. 
  • Provide operational support for the Product Management, as well as broader Product & technology team by developing and monitoring key metrics to ensure reporting needs are met. 
  • Execute and/or coordinate day-to-day administrative, financial, and procedural activities to drive standard ways of working. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc special projects as requested. 
 
What you bring to the team: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent course work in business, math, marketing, or related field with an emphasis on data analysis. 
  • Strong analytical skills including logic, deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and critical thinking including the ability to synthesis multiple sources of information. 
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; including sharing of data analysis. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning, strong adaptability, and capacity to work in fast-paced environments. 
  • Team player who collaborates well with others is a change agent with a solution orientation.
