Radiology Associate Sales Representative **Entry Level Sales** - Upstate NY

Radiology Associate Sales Representative (RASR's) will report to the assigned Strategic Account Manager. This individual will act as a field-based point of contact between Myriad and the assigned accounts, such as but not limited to Breast Imaging Centers and their associated staff and service lines (hospital and stand-alone centers). The RASR's will assist in day-to-day operations related to genetic cancer testing in the breast imaging center. The RASR is involved in implementing and onboarding new projects to optimize and retain key accounts to ensure a positive experience and success for our customers.

The RASR leverages proactive decision-making and timely issue resolution to manage their customers. As a RASR, you will also act as a partner to educate and advocate for customers within the organization to drive new functionality and process improvement.

Key Functions
● Retention:
RASR's will partner with key, strategic accounts in a complex and competitive environment. The goal is to ensure that clients are properly educated on services and maintain an overall positive experience. They will build a strong relationship through proactive contact, business reviews, and goal setting to add value to our key accounts' continued partnership. Regular Field travel is required to maintain existing business. 
● Implementation:
Be an active participant in onboarding new accounts and implementing new services to ensure long-term scalability and success. The RASR will utilize data and regular customer account knowledge, and appropriate ordering workflows to set up proactive solutions and best practices for proper implementation. All implementation tactics should align with a "customer first" approach and meet compliance regulations. The RASR will need to be well informed on available tools and resources.
● Optimization:
Be the key driver in optimizing accounts through improved and more efficient workflows to drive positive growth in account health. All accounts have different needs, which require a holistic approach to both internal and external processes. The RASR will drive operational efficiency, process improvement and help develop new features and services. The RASR will work with their Strategic Account Manager to partner on opportunities for further account optimization.
The RASR will exemplify proficiency within five competencies - Account Knowledge and Trust, Scalable Solutions, Proactive Support, Effective Partner, and Successful Onboarding.

Use data to drive scalable and efficient improvements. Data will back your decisions, prove progress, and present opportunities for engagement.

The RASR must have the ability to deliver clear direction and create a path forward for a diverse, collaborative team. Clearly articulate the customer's needs with internal partners and determine the best possible course of action that supports Myriad Radiology Business Unit and customer's success.
● Track and Measure for Continuous Improvement.
The RASR must research data utilizing Myriad's software applications, such as Salesforce and QlikView. They must be able to track and measure account progress for continuous improvement.
● Self-Starter
The RASR must have a proven track record of taking ideas and running with them and a willingness to drive projects to completion through individual effort and collaboration with broader teams.
 ● Strategic Thinking
Actively participate in generating your team's strategic vision to help maximize our efforts, return, and team engagement. You understand the sales process, customer behaviors, and service expectations and generate a strategy for addressing customer needs through self-help options and support agents.

INTERACTIONS
The RASR will play a cross-functional role within Myriad, interacting primarily with Strategic Account Organization (VP of Innovation, Associate Sales Directors, Strategic Account Managers). Other interactions would include Regional Sales Director their Field Sales team, and Internal Myriad departments.

PROBLEM SOLVING/DECISION MAKING
RASR's will work on complex and abstract problems of diverse scope. This individual negotiates complicated matters with external customers and groups.

Qualification Requirements

  • BS/BA degree required ideally in a related field of study
  • Account Management experience is a plus but not required
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales-related or customer service role preferred
  • Proven ability to manage ever-increasing responsibility and sustain growth
  • Ability to travel and do overnights as needed (50% Travel)
  • Effective at overcoming obstacles and challenges utilizing problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of coverage and reimbursement issues
  • A proven track record of exceeding company targets within a competitive market
  • Excellent presentation, training, and coaching skills. (Required)
  • Strong interpersonal skills to include active listening, advising, facilitating, and problem-solving, are required. Ability to apply these skills at all levels and in diverse settings. (Required)

  • Advanced organization skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments

  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of Salesforce.com or a similar CRM, and other business programs, Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge and application of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics surrounding patient privacy and information  
  • Demonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad's mission, goals, and professional code of conduct  
  • Ability to resist pressure to compromise corporate values despite pressure to make sales  
  • Uses discretion and professionalism as it relates to handling patient and physician information and documentation

  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets safe and satisfactory criteria per Myriad's motor vehicle driving record policy
