UX Designer

We provide technology that community financial institutions use to manage risk and drive growth. Our solutions automate key processes – from anti-money laundering to fraud detection to CECL readiness to lending workflows – empowering our customers by addressing their Enterprise Risk Management needs. 

The UX team is growing and looking for another team member to come in and work on various exciting and new projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is not only a master of their craft, but also shares our commitment to driving a strong company culture by putting their heart and soul into their work every day. This position will be remote or office based in Raleigh, NC or Austin, TX.

What You’ll Do: 
  • Create mocks and prototypes of design solutions using tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision.  
  • Schedule and lead user feedback sessions with customers to validate solutions and ensure designs are valuable and intuitive. 
  • Follow a specified style guide and pattern library when creating designs in order to establish and maintain consistency in patterns across Abrigo products.  
  • Communicate and collaborate with agile scrum teams to confirm that design solutions are feasible in terms of development bandwidth and project time constraints. 
  • Audit and document the information architecture of Abrigo products in order to understand and communicate the structure of our applications and how they connect to one another. 
  • Understand the value of user personas and help the UX team iterate on them as we build and improve Abrigo products. 
  • Use scientific problem-solving methods and critical thinking to devise and analyze potential solutions. 
  • Communicate concepts, actions, and tone effectively through UX writing by identifying the audience and tailoring language to fit. 
  • Identify and establish rapport with internal stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to the UX team's short-term business strategy and goals. 

What You’ll Need: 
  • Entry level experience in UX/UI design, preferably with agile product development methodologies and enterprise software. 
  • A UX design portfolio including items such as wireframes, prototypes, and user testing examples for review as part of the application process.
