Lead Associate, Paid Digital Marketing

Summary
The Paid Digital Lead Associate is an important part of the agency’s fundraising strategies to back Save the Children’s mission. You will support the Senior Advisor, Digital Marketing with all facets of online advertising for Save the Children, including display, social, paid search, and other inbound marketing strategies, and will work in various advertising platforms to execute campaigns and deliver results against revenue, acquisition and advocacy targets; drive qualified web traffic; and raise brand awareness within the U.S.   
What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)
 
Planning & Execution – 45% 
  • Assist with the planning & execution of digital advertising campaigns to reach new audiences using existing and emerging channels, including display, social media, video advertising and paid search 
  • Act as main digital liaison with internal stakeholders; gather goals and objectives of all campaigns and provide notifications of campaign status, as well as results and recommendations 
 
Optimization & Reporting – 40% 
  • Monitor daily performance and spend of paid digital campaigns and identify areas for optimization 
  • Execute A/B creative and landing page tests to increase campaign efficiencies 
  • Report against KPIs and provide actionable analysis for campaign success  
  • Participate in weekly meetings providing strategic updates  
 
Budget – 10% 
  • Oversee payment processing of all invoices, including coding and submission to accounts payable; act as main point of contact for invoice processing matters 
  • Work with internal stakeholders to monitor and track spending 
 
Research & Evaluation – 5% 
  • Identify, evaluate and execute on development of new vendors and technologies.   
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience  
  • Proven direct campaign experience. 
  • Demonstrated data analysis skills. 
  • Professional proficiency with MS Office suite, plus advanced Excel skills (vlookup, pivots, macros). 
  • Demonstrated detail-orientation and ability to successfully deliver results while balancing multiple deliverables, often with competing deadlines 
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written English  
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate successfully with staff and teams at all levels, including internal and external partner and agency relationships.  
  • Proven success as a data-guided digital marketer who always looks for ways to improve and turn insights into action. 
  • Demonstrated commitment to fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and belonging. 
 
Preferred Qualifications 
 
  • Nonprofit, political campaign or agency experience  
  • Experience with tools, preferably Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics  
  • Copywriting experience
