Communications Director

 
 
The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Communications Director
Nebraska Business Development Center
The Communications Director will be responsible for the Nebraska Business Development Center (NBDC) strategic communications plan and all resulting components, including brand development, public relations, media relations, content development, website development, image and message development, and communications events for NBDC.
    The Director will work collaboratively with NBDC program managers, the University Communications staff, College of Business Administration (CBA) Marketing Director, and Nebraska Media contacts to effectively share NBDC stories through email campaigns, press releases, social media and the NBDC website to attract NE business owners as clients.
Required Qualifications:                                                                                                                                                                    
·        Bachelor’s degree
·        3-5 years of experience with translating marketing communication fundamentals into strategic execution in support of business goals required.
·        Experience building relationships across an organization in service of communication goals.
·        Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite.
·        Demonstrated experience with social media tools.
·        Experience with Content Management Systems.
Salary Information: $68,000-$70,000/year
