The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Lead Payroll Specialist
Human Resources
Responsible for the successful delivery of UNO bi-weekly and monthly payrolls including processing NRA direct deposits (nonresident alien employees) and creating or updating Payroll Standard Operating Procedures and documentation. Maintains compliance with local and federal regulation, internal procedures, and policies. Manages UNO Workers’ Compensation Payroll processes by coordinating, processing, monitoring, and working closely with Benefits and Risk Management areas. Provides supervision for Payroll Assistant.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree. Will consider 5 years experience in payroll in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
· 3 years’ experience in payroll.
Salary Information: $53,000-$63,000/year
