Desktop Support Specialist

Resolve tickets through Prority1’s ticketing system.
· Analyze and resolve potentially complex end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues;
· Support Window Servers corporate policies, procedures, and best practices;
· Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents;
· Explain and document technical issues in a clear way for employees;
· Proactively help team members/make suggestions to improve practices;
· Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software;
· Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with software applications;
· Follow-up on equipment delivered to other sites and ensure equipment is received and set up properly;
· Interacts with users to understand and document all IT issues;
· Take immediate actions to resolve technology service disruptions when they occur;
· Ensure incidents impacting technology availability are resolved within policy standards;
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPN, and network fundamentals;
· Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Office 2016 / 365;
· Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory;
· 1-2 years of experience with Active Directory (Adds, Moves, Changes, etc.); Admin level is not required;
· 1-2 years of experience providing technical support in Windows Environment (8, 10), such as password resets, exchange, hardware, and software issues;
· 1-2 years of experience supporting iPhones and hot spots;
· Standard PC Software support experience;
· 1+ years of enterprise desktop support experience in a commercial or government environment;
· 1-2 years IT experience is required
Pay & Benefits:
· Base Salary of $35,000-$45,000 DOE
