Compensation Analyst - REMOTE

Premise offers a wide range of dynamic, purpose-driven career opportunities. We are currently looking for a Associate Compensation Analyst (Part-Time) to join our team in Brentwood, TN.
About the role:
The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities relating to the company’s compensation programs as well as, working on project bases, analysis, critical thinking, input and assistance with regard to the administration of those programs. The Compensation Analyst is responsible for implementing compensation practices solutions to support business needs and drive business results. Additionally, the Compensation Analyst provides compensation guidance and support to leaders and colleagues. 
Essential Functions: 
  • Works with leaders to create and price new jobs at Premise.
  • Maintains, uses, and participates in compensation surveys and related invoice processing.
  • Maintains Premise’s job description library and works with leaders to create and update job descriptions as necessary.
  • Assists with bonus administration, calculation, and preparation of files for payroll.
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly audits regarding overtime, pay type, minimum wage, exemption status etc.
  • Reviews and recommends salary placements for non-exec new hires as requested and otherwise assists with the recruiting and new hire process.
  • Ensures that compensation programs comply with established policies, guidelines, processes and procedures as well as government wage and hour and other regulations.
  • Partners with HRIS to obtain data necessary for compensation analysis and other activities.
  • Works closely with Compensation Business Partner to provide support on projects and other initiatives, such as, process documentation and data auditing.
  • Respond effectively and timely to team member questions regarding compensation programs and processes.
  • Additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned from time-to-time.
Job Requirements:

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, accounting, finance, mathematics, or related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
  • Zero (0) to two (2) years of hands-on related experience in the corporate human resources department.
  • Prior compensation experience is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Ability to partner, consult and communicate with other HR team members and management, including Business HR, Recruiting, Team Member Relations and Performance Management.
  • Familiarity with local, state and federal employment and wage and hour laws (FLSA, EEO Classification, etc.) as well as basic employee relations principles and practices.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze information and data and present findings in a concise format.
  • Solid interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills required in order to communicate and present across all levels within the organization
  • Critical thinking skills and responsive, proactive, consultative work style required
  • Enthusiastic, positive, “can-do” attitude, relaxed demeanor and perseverance required to troubleshoot/resolve complex technical issues while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Solid mathematics and critical thinking skills and strong ability to focus on detail, while maintaining high-degree of accuracy.
  • Proficient at an intermediate level with standard office software, including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook (or other similar systems).
  • Role will be 20-25 hours per week

For individuals living in Colorado only, Premise Health is required to include an estimate of the salary and benefits for this role. While a number of factors influence salary, our estimated Colorado compensation is $20- $25 per hour. Please note, this is a general guideline and your experience qualifications, geographic location, and other factors will be taken into consideration.
