We are currently seeking an innovative, experienced, and highly-skilled RF Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will create and develop custom solutions for our users in a collaborative, fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment. To be successful in this role, you will be thorough, creative, and exceptionally well-skilled in all phases of the development lifecycle, with a passion for continued learning and collaboration.

As a RF Engineer at NSWCDD, you will perform RF/Spectrum Engineering with IP connected environment across wireless tactical networks. Perform communications systems engineering including waveform development, networked systems and transmission systems deployment. Perform spectrum and frequency management, system design and verification of system performance. Conduct technical analyses, trade studies, market research and draft white papers and written reports as required. Conducts electromagnetic environment (EME) and radio frequency (RF) assessments of DoD surface vessels, submarines, and shore facilities for hazards to ordnance, personnel, and fuel.

Qualifications include: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering or related STEM field. Experience performing RF Modeling and Simulation. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, or C++ programming languages.
