Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC (airside, hydronic, steam), Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems under the supervision of licensed engineers;
  • Set up and develop design models in Revit as part of a BIM team;
  • Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
  • Create, modify, and update Revit models as required for specific projects;
  • Coordinate with other trades, including electrical, architectural, structural, and civil, to produce complete facility and campus designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited school;
  • 3+ years of experience in the design, construction, and/or operation of HVAC systems;
  • EIT certification, or interest in obtaining;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of or interest in building systems and their installation, with an emphasis on Mechanical installations preferred;
  • Developing knowledge of HVAC system design;
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit;
  • Willingness to learn drawing and modeling organization;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
  • Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
Base Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
