Responsibilities
- Design HVAC (airside, hydronic, steam), Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems under the supervision of licensed engineers;
- Set up and develop design models in Revit as part of a BIM team;
- Create detailed field installation drawings and fabrication drawings;
- Create, modify, and update Revit models as required for specific projects;
- Coordinate with other trades, including electrical, architectural, structural, and civil, to produce complete facility and campus designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited school;
- 3+ years of experience in the design, construction, and/or operation of HVAC systems;
- EIT certification, or interest in obtaining;
- Demonstrate knowledge of or interest in building systems and their installation, with an emphasis on Mechanical installations preferred;
- Developing knowledge of HVAC system design;
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit;
- Willingness to learn drawing and modeling organization;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel;
- Positive attitude and desire to work as part of a team.
Base Compensation: $65,000 - $95,000
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
