Our DaVita Acute program is looking for RN's to work in the Greater New Orleans Metro Area. Our Acute Nurses will troubleshoot, and make sound decisions for our patients related to their dialysis treatment and will occasionally partner alongside the hospital staff to coordinate care. Your impact on the lives of our patients and their families will be felt every day.

What does a successful RN look like?
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license or Pending NCLEX
At least 1 year of hands on nursing / externship experience – typically in a hands on, fast paced environment
Comfortable assessing, troubleshooting and making sound recommendations in demanding situations
Ability to interact with our partner’s onsite of the hospital system
Someone who is eager to learn and expand their nursing experience
What does this role look like?
Schedule Details:
- Schedule is 4 days a week. Every other weekend requirement.
- Shift start and end time fluctuates depending on census and hospital.
- Teammate will be scheduled 1-2 call days per week. Be prepared to answer the phone and be available on call all night.
- Teammate will cover all 4 hospitals – University Medical Center, New Orleans East, Ocshner West Bank and West Jefferson Medical Center.
Paid Dialysis Training provided (hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training)
