Telematics Validation Engineer

Responsibilities:

· Perform validation for telematics/infotainment products by utilizing test benches and vehicles

· Support and communicate with R&D team, not only in North America but other regions such as Korea

· Support to resolve technical issues

· Maintain relationships with overseas counterparts to effectively share information and resolve issues

· Support production part approval process testing as needed (PPAP)

· Utilize tracking system to report and track product defects

· Create/maintain test cases per product specifications

· Analyze test results to determine if product meet specifications

· Responsible for executing Sanity, Full test cases, and Regression/confirmation testing for assigned sections

Qualifications:

· Knowledge of Infotainment/Telematic systems , Vehicle networking ( CAN/Ethernet ), Wireless technology (3G/4G,VoLTE)

· Recognize and mitigate both technical and organizational challenges

· Knowledge of test bench and vehicle setup

· Knowledge of specifications and ability to analyze test results

· Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail

· Knowledge of the process on how to create test cases with the appropriate test case structure

· Knowledge of how to interface with the bug tracking system

· Good Communication skills

· Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies

· Korean bilingual

Preferred (Not Required):

· Bachelors Degree

· Knowledge of vehicle development process
