Scheduled Hours: 37.5 or 40 hours a week In Clinic

 

  •  Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am & 5 pm 
  • 1 evening a week no later than 7 pm
  • No Call
  • No Nights
  • No Weekends
  • Multiple locations across Lake County.
     

This location is a qualified NHSC Loan Repayment Program site. As such, staff working at this site are eligible to apply for up to $25,000 a year in student loan repayments. We offer a $5,000 sign-on bonus and highly competitive, comprehensive BENEFIT OPTIONS!

Essential Functions

Medication Addiction Treatment (MAT) Key Responsibilities: 
 

Making a career choice in the Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program gives you an opportunity to be a part of the success in addiction. Providing medication and behavioral therapies to those struggling with addiction will increase the chance of their recovery. The MAT program provides a chance for the clinician to practice autonomy in choosing therapeutic interventions and group topics that are most beneficial to this population. 

 

Provides evaluation, psycho-social education and mentoring, and treatment services to clients, assists clients in developing and accomplishing treatment goals in individual and group settings. Provides consultation and education to community groups, and emergency services. Competently works with clients with coexisting disorders. In the Medication Assisted Treatment Program, knowledge of addiction and Substance Use Disorders, specifically Opiate Use Disorder and Alcohol Use Disorder.

Primary Care Behavioral Health (PCBH) Key Responsibilities: 
 

As a licensed Senior Therapist in one of our Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), you will be working on-site collaboratively alongside our medical team to provide integrated care to our patients. As a go-to on-site resource for mental health, you will provide evaluations, psycho-social education, just-in-time consultations, mentoring, and treatment services to our clients. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to join the physician in the exam room to discuss with clients how to improve their well-being and quality of life.  

This role assists clients in developing and accomplishing treatment goals in individual and group settings and provides consultation and education to community groups, and emergency services. Additionally, this role works competently with clients with coexisting disorders. 

 

Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required

 

  • A Master’s degree in a related field is required.
  • Licensure by the state of Illinois as a  Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is required.
  • No LPC allowed  for this opening at this time.  
  • 1-2 years of experience is nice to have.
  • Newly licensed individuals are encouraged to apply.

 

Supplemental Information

 

As a public health department, we believe in the science, data, and power of vaccines, like the influenza vaccine, to protect against and prevent illness.
