Registered Dietitian
The Dietitian will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the design of diet plans and menus, evaluate diets to determine if they are helping the person receiving services to remain healthy, lose weight, and teach individuals to make healthy food choices.

How you will change lives…
- Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary –care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
- Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of persons served.
- Provides consultation to persons served, dietary personnel, and direct care staff on nutritional principals, dietary plans, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation.
- Counsel individuals and groups on basic rules of good nutrition, healthy eating habits, and nutrition monitoring to improve their quality of life.
- Coordinates recipe development, standardization, and develops new menus based on input from persons served.

We are Hopeful you have…
- Bachelors of Science in Dietetics or Human Nutrition (required)
Credentials with the Commission on Dietetic Registration for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics - Registered Dietitian
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License.
