Audio Visual Project Engineer

We have entry-level up to senior-level positions available. Entry-level Engineers will be coached and challenged through an extensive training and development period. The Project Engineers (PE) is an integral part of Ford and has a significant role in the designed and installed systems. The PE is responsible for designing the systems, preparing CAD system drawings, programming DSP, designing AV computer control systems, meeting with clients, inspecting, testing, working at job sites, and training the customer. Every engineer is expected to approach all projects emphasizing safety, quality design, installation, and service.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with CAD/AutoCAD
  • Programming experience (C/C#/Crestron/Extron/AMX preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 65% including overnight travel (while in training, amount may vary)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer skills- Microsoft Office, typing, 10 key
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience with the design and installation of professional audio, video, network and lighting systems (for senior level position)
